Hi lovelies, I hope you are all well. Thanks for visiting me here again. A new post here not too long after the last one, yay!!. really pushing hard with this blogging thing. It is not easy! As we here from the professionals. Anyway let’s get on with it. I am very excited to share this look with you guys. This blush pink ruffle top is probably my favourite and best item ever from H&M. Stumbled upon it by chance, I went in only to pass time as I do whenever I am meeting up with friends on oxford street. Does anyone of you do that too? I will pop around to H&M or Topshop right by the tube station. Not with the intention to buy, just browse. I spotted this beautiful ruffly blush piece in H&M and fell in love with it straight away. The zip detail is beautiful and unusual, almost like a jacket, silky fabric, good length which looks great tacked in or over. I had to get it. Could not wait to style it in different ways.
HOW TO WEAR CULOTTES
I paired it with this beautiful Finery London culotte and Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. Did the matchy-matchy thing. Swapping shoes to trainers, pumps, sandals will make this look work for me for all occasions. Really! In my near future posts you will see me style this top in another way. I like the fact that I was able to style it for summer. But can obviously fit perfectly in an autumn or winter wardrobe because of the long sleeves. I have to say, finding the top, was a pleasant surprise. Because I haven’t been really excited with the options from high street clothes shops lately. They all seem the same, slight variations. Yes, they provide the necessary basics, but more often than not I get really poor quality clothes. I have jeans less than a year old ripping apart, which is a same, it wasn’t always the case. So these days I try to not buy a lot from high street. I keep it simple, get a couple basics, and then try to find more longer lasting pieces. Also, there was a necessary reason to downside my wardrobe. I moved to a modest studio flat, which work well with a minimum wardrobe.
Top – H&M
