I absolutely love this blouse, cute and feminine, just the perfect fabric and style for the beautiful Ghana weather. Oh yes! this look was one of my ‘outfit of day’ for lunch at one of my favourites restaurants in Accra – Mango Ase. You have to try the authentic glorious soup dishes they serve there if you ever visit Ghana. It would be a crime not to. Ghana was incredible but I will get into that in later blog posts. So back to how this ensemble came to be. A day before I was due to fly out I realised I didn’t have enough summer-wear for my trip. So I dashed to Oxford street for a last minute shopping, I wanted slip-ons and hand bag specifically.
The thing is as far as I can remember, I have always left packing to anywhere at the very last minutes. Even when I try my hardest to begin the process like a week early, still I will find myself with more packing at the last minute so now I don’t even bother, leaving it till last few hours. I was going in and out of shops, wasting no time, wanted something to catch my eyes. I got lucky in RiverIsland, where I got the pink mules and in Zara for the white handbag. Unexpectedly, I wore these accessories more than any of the shoes and bags I took with me- a good buy despite it been rushed. Paired with my go to mum jeans and the lovely vintage floral blouse gifted to me by a friend.
THE FEEL OF THIS EDIT TAKES ME BACK TO GHANA
